The San Francisco 49ers' list of needs in the 2025 NFL draft only grew during their relatively inactive free agency period. Still sitting at or near the top of the list is an offensive tackle who can potentially replace left tackle Trent Williams when Williams eventually retires.
Because of the short-term need for OL upgrades and a glaring long-term need at left tackle, it makes sense that ESPN's Matt Miller named LSU left tackle Will Campbell as his ideal NFL draft fit for San Francisco.

Addressing the offensive line and planning for 36-year-old Trent Williams' eventual retirement with Campbell would be a win-win for the 49ers' front office.
