Prattville (United States) (AFP) - LPGA players endured a frustrating day at the Senator course as multiple weather delays saw the leaders complete just four holes of the LPGA Classic third round.
American Austin Ernst, who started the third round a shot behind 36-hole leader Tseng Ya-ni, had edged ahead through four holes when darkness halted play.
Ernst birdied the par-three second hole to pull level with former world number one Tseng, who fell back with a bogey at the par-four fourth.
