Craig Sager was honored and remembered Tuesday by many at his memorial service, including friend and colleague Ernie Johnson. At the service, Johnson read an emotionally charged, yet funny poem to honor Sager, who passed away last week after a long battle with cancer.
In the poem, Johnson talked about Sager's humble beginnings as a reporter, his loud, colorful suits, his work ethic, and his eventual fight against cancer.
"I really, truly do believe no man enjoyed life more. That laugh, that smile, that joy we saw when he walked in the door." Johnson recited. "And how he worshipped Stacy, how he loved the sound of 'Dad.
