The Tennessee Titans and wide receiver Eric Decker agreed to terms on a one-year contract Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Paul Kuharsky of The Midday 180 confirmed Schefter's report.
The move comes six days after the New York Jets officially released Decker to save $7.25 million against the salary cap amid a roster shakeup that has been underway since February.
In other words, the Jets' decision to let Decker hit the open market wasn't borne out of disappointment in his performance.
And even though Decker was limited to three games (nine catches, 194 yards, two touchdowns) in 2016 due to hip and shoulder injuries, he's been a touchdown machine when healthy over the past five years.
