If the Warriors or Spurs need an extra big man come December, Emeka Okafor is ready to suit up.
Okafor, 33, hasn’t played since the 2012-13 season when a herniated disc in his neck forced him out of the game. But according to his agent Jeff Schwartz, Okafor is “five or six months away” from being NBA-ready.
"He's been working hard rehabbing,” Schwartz said (via ESPN.com). “For some guys that means one thing. To Emeka, who understands his body as well or better than some trainers that have worked with him, it means something else.
