Warning: Our early 2016 fantasy football running back rankings aren't pretty. Nearly every player in the top 10 has some sort of question mark (unproven, injury-risk, age), and once you get past the top four or five, it's tough to imagine taking any RB in the first round of your fantasy draft next August.
But we all know how important good running backs are, and even if the "wait-on-RB" draft strategy is adopted by more owners next year, these guys are still going to be drafted at some point. Keep in mind that free agency and the draft will change these rankings in the coming months, but for now, this is how we see this always volatile position.
