In what may be the biggest no-brainer of the Philadelphia Eagles’ troubled season, head coach Doug Pederson said on Monday that rookie Jalen Hurts will get his third straight start in Week 16 when the Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys.
After Hurts’ performance against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, there was really no other choice Pederson could have made. The Eagles lost 33-26, but Hurts shone brightly and held his own against Kyler Murray. He threw for 338 yards with three touchdowns, plus 11 rushes for 63 yards and one touchdown.
