Philadelphia Eagles rookie defensive back Cooper DeJean will make his preseason debut Saturday against the Minnesota Vikings.
Zach Berman of PHLY relayed the news on the former Iowa star, who was selected with the No. 40 overall choice in last April's NFL draft.
DeJean suffered a fractured fibula last November, underwent successful surgery and missed the remainder of his final collegiate season. Despite seeing his 2023 campaign cut short, DeJean earned unanimous All-American and All-Big Ten honors.
The 21-year-old then suffered a hamstring injury during offseason training in July that sidelined him for the beginning of training camp, but the Eagles activated him off the non-football injury list on Aug.
