Dwight Gooden finally showed up Monday, and he had a lot to say about ex-teammate Darryl Strawberry's recent comments about Gooden's alleged drug addiction.
After giving a radio interview earlier Monday, Gooden released a statement through a representative Monday night that blasted Strawberry for displaying a lack of "character and strength" for his recent comments that suggested the former Cy Young winner missed a scheduled event appearance because of an ongoing drug problem.

"I do not do cocaine and have not for years," Gooden's statement reads, in part.
