CLEVELAND (AP) — Jarren Duran had Boston’s first straight steal of home since Jacoby Ellsbury exactly 16 years earlier, and the Red Sox beat the Cleveland Guardians 7-3 Saturday for a doubleheader split after losing the opener 5-4.
Duran tripled in the third inning and took off against Doug Nikhazy (0-1), a 25-year-old left-hander who was making made his major league debut.
