After facing criminal misdemeanor charges stemming from an East Lansing incident involving a Michigan State football player on July 11, Golden State Warriors All-Star Draymond Green reached a plea deal with prosecutors that will help the Warriors All-Star avoid jail time, WDIV in Detroit reported Friday:

In a statement Friday, the city of East Lansing said Green's attorney presented the signed agreement after a court hearing Thursday. The plea deal reduces the charge to a civil infraction, which carries a penalty of a $500 fine and $60 in jail restitution.
