Sidnei Frigo is lucky to have survived a crash that left his high-power dragster a shambles.
It's hard to imagine how Frigo avoided death in the Friday accident during an NHRA event in Texas. He was in a hospital on Saturday.

It took rescue workers several seconds to reach the remains of Frigo's car during qualifying at the NHRA SpringNationals in Baytown, Texas. When they did, they found him conscious and responsive.
