Donald Brown didn't stay unemployed for long. Only a few days after letting the veteran running back go, the San Diego Chargers announced Monday they signed Brown once again.
In order to make room for him on the roster, the Chargers also released offensive lineman Michael Ola, whom they originally promoted from the practice squad to correspond with Brown's release last Saturday.
Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune questioned whether Brown's roster spot could be better used on a different position:
