The Kings and star center Domantas Sabonis has reportedly reached an agreement on a lucrative contract renegotiation and extension, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Sabonis’s new deal runs for five years, and he’s due to earn a whopping $217 million throughout its course. Of that, $195 million is reportedly new money.
The 27-year-old was set to enter the final year of his contract in 2023-24 and was due to earn $19.4 million. He had previously been under a four-year, $74 million deal in Sacramento, which he had originally signed with the Pacers in 2020.
