The Miami Dolphins are interested in, and have been in contact with free agent cornerback Rasul Douglas, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.
Douglas, 30, is a name that has made sense for much of the offseason and has plenty of starting experience in the NFL. The former three-round pick had a sluggish start to his career and bounced around a few practice squads in 2021 before working his way on to the field with the Green Bay Packers.
His emergence in the back half of 2021, which included four interceptions and two pick sixes in the last six games of the year, earned him a three-year, $21 million extension with the Packers.
