Dodgers rally to beat Mets 5?2, tie NLDS at 1?1

After a wild seventh-inning rally, the Dodgers pulled away and beat the Mets 5–2, tying the NLDS at 1–1.

Mets rookie starter Noah Syndergaard had been steady before running into trouble in the seventh, and was lifted for veteran Bartolo Colon. Colon entered the one-run game with men on the corners and one out, and coaxed a fielders’ choice up the middle out of Howie Kendrick. Kiké Hernandez scored from third on the play to tie the game at two.

On the same play, Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada was carted off the field after being taken out on a slide by Chase Utley.
