Paul Pierce isn't sure if he wants to play another NBA season, and if that's the case, Doc Rivers is going to make sure he retires a Celtic.
"If Paul decides to retire, then we're going to make sure that Boston picks him up for one day and he retires a Celtic, because that's what he should retire as," Rivers told The Vertical. "So we have all that in place. We just don't know what he's going to do."

Even though Pierce is currently a member of Rivers' Clippers squad, Pierce played 15 seasons in Boston, with nine of those under Rivers.
