There is no drama for the Seattle Seahawks between Geno Smith and DK Metcalf after a disappointing 36-24 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football in Week 6.
Per Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune, Metcalf called Smith three days later to take the blame for running a bad route that led to an interception by 49ers cornerback Renardo Green midway through the fourth quarter.
Metcalf followed that up on Wednesday during his weekly press conference by explaining what happened on the play.
"Yeah, that was definitely my fault," Metcalf said (via Bell).
