Before the Escalade, Ambien, Elin and Las Vegas call girls, Tiger Woods and Roger Federer were professional friendly — sometimes attending each others events and even interrupting rounds to receive updates on how the other was doing in tournaments. But once Tiger became toxic, Federer and his squeaky clean image reportedly stayed away for a while. But later, the coolness thawed and they were chums once again, because when you’re two of the greatest athletes in the world and can both drop amazing backhanded compliments, not even a little controversy can kill that bond.
