Yes, Paulsen, who was an NFL tight end with Washington for five seasons (eight total NFL seasons), sees the need for the Commanders to trade down and obtain a couple of draft picks. The team is short on selections this year, and Paulsen certainly understands the need for more selections.
Yet, on Wednesday's "Take Command" podcast with Craig Hoffman, Paulsen was clear that if a player is there at No. 29 that the Commanders GM Adam Peters feels he cannot pass on, Peters will draft that player.
