Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Eugenio Suarez, who hit 189 home runs over seven seasons with the Cincinnati Reds from 2015 to 2021, was named National League Player of the Week after hitting four home runs in the D'backs' first three games of the season against the Chicago Cubs.
Suarez told MLB Network Tuesday that he hasn't used a torpedo bat yet, but intends to try one.
"I mean I will try one," Suarez said. "I haven't used one yet but I want to try it. It's very popular right now.
