ESPN’s NFL pre-game show is swapping out a bunch of studio hosts, for another bunch of studio hosts. So they should be able to put on the same show with the same number of desks and chairs, and not move to yet a bigger studio.
They never run out of ex-players or coaches to sit in those chairs. None of the networks do. There's always room for more. More, more, more, always more.
But this is the NFL, a business whose primary product is “more.” The league has excessive excess. So why shouldn’t its broadcast partners, to the tune of about $5 billion a year, be excessive, too?
