MMA president Scott Coker made the announcement Sunday on ESPN’s SportsCenter.

Slice failed his drug test at Bellator 149 in Houston, testing positive for nandrolone and an elevated testosterone-to-epitestosterone (T/E) ratio, after beating Dhafir Harris via third-round TKO on Feb. 19. Slice faces a one-year ban in the state of Texas and a $5,000 fine, and was placed on 90-day suspension.
