After two weeks of ugly statements, disputes over consent and barbs from both parties, the Derrick Rose civil rape trial is going to the jury.
Tuesday's court session in Los Angeles was highlighted by a retelling by the plaintiff's lead attorney, Waukeen McCoy, of the events he says took place in August 2013, as well as closing arguments by McCoy and Rose's attorney Mark Baute.

The woman, Baute said, “is not a real rape victim. … She is a liar.”
"The only reason we’re here (in court) is because Derrick Rose has money and she wants some of it," Baute added
McCoy called the incident "a classic case of gang rape.
