In a tight battle to the end, Derrick Jones Jr. walked out of the United Center with the coveted Slam Dunk Contest trophy on Saturday night.
The Miami Heat forward edged out Orlando Magic star Aaron Gordon 198-197 in the finals.
Gordon put up a tremendous fight in the contest, too, and even threw down over 7-foot-5 Boston Celtics center Tacko Fall.
While he pulled it off, Fall wasn’t aware that he was going to get called out onto the floor.
Tacko Fall says that Aaron Gordon dunk was not planned.
