The Houston Texans lost a key player when offensive tackle Derek Newton exited his team's Week 7 game against the Denver Broncos on Thursday.
As NFL on ESPN showed, the 28-year-old was carted off the field with injuries to both legs:

The team's official Twitter account later announced he would miss the remainder of the game.
Newton has been Houston's starting right tackle since 2012.
