His son is, of course, Shedeur Sanders, one of the top prospects in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, alongside names like fellow quarterback Cam Ward, elite dual-position threat Travis Hunter, and pass-rusher Abdul Carter.
And according to comments Sanders made at ProMat 2025, Sanders believes the best for his son is being drafted by the New York Giants, either at No. 3 overall or otherwise. For anyone who knows and understands Sanders, it is the least surprising thing ever to hear that he wants Shedeur playing in a big media market like New York for one of the NFL's traditionally premier franchises.
