When Deebo Samuel requested a trade from the San Francisco 49ers, the Washington Commanders were an easy destination for the former Pro Bowl wide receiver.
"I like winners," Samuel said Thursday during his media availability. "I'm not one of your biggest losers. So, they went to the NFC championship. I've been knowing (GM) Adam Peters for a while........They've got a good team for sure, and they were just standing out."
Samuel said he's bringing his "dog mentality" to Washington and couldn't wait to catch passes from quarterback Jayden Daniels.
