After the recent shooting deaths by police in Louisiana and Minnesota, Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett was compelled to write a letter for The Players’ Tribune urging young black boys to prepare themselves for more than the life of an athlete or entertainer.
The following is an excerpt from the letter.

The quest for freedom continues.
