Adding Odeyingbo and Grady Jarrett to their defensive line, the Bears regime, led by head coach Ben Johnson and general manager Ryan Poles, have shown a commitment to rebuilding the trenches.
For Odeyingbo, he'll get an opportunity to play in a bigger role for the Bears, and this regime believes he's someone who can play all over the defensive line for them.
