Tacoma (United States) (AFP) - Australian Jason Day teed off in the third round of the US Open Saturday, just a day after collapsing on the ninth hole due to an attack of vertigo.

The 27-year-old Queenslander was up high on the leaderboard in a tie for ninth at two-under 138 when he hit his tee shot on the par-four first hole while playing in a pairing with American Kevin Kisner.
