A federal judge on Thursday denied the former Saints defensive back a deal that would reduce his prison sentence for drugging and raping the women, the Times-Picayune reported.

U.S. District Judge Jane Triche Milazzo said at a hearing that the nine-year sentence agreed to last year as part of a global plea deal across states did not follow the guidelines for the severity of the charges, which generally warrant a 15- to 20-year sentence.
