Danica Patrick was fined $20,000 for her actions after being involved in a wreck with Kasey Kahne during the Auto Club 400 on Sunday.
With 80 laps remaining in the race, Patrick passed Kahne's lap-down car, but then he made contact with her car between Turns 1 and 2, sending Patrick crashing hard into the wall. With smoke in her cockpit, she climbed from her car when it came to a stop in the infield.
Patrick then walked up onto the track's apron, waiting for Kahne to pass again before raising her arms to gesture toward his car.
