The Dallas Cowboys are nearing completion of their latest billion-dollar baubel — the soon-to-be-opened Ford Center at The Star headquarters and training facility in suburban Frisco — and are eager to show it off as a bookend to AT&T Stadium by hosting the 2018 NFL Draft, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.
The team's executive vice president for business operations said as much at a Frisco Chamber of Commerce meeting, according to Community Impact Newspaper, and an unidentified high-ranking Cowboys source confirmed to the Star-Telegram that discussions have begun with the NFL about bringing the draft to North Texas.
