Dale Jarrett understands what it takes to win at Talladega Superspeedway.
After all, he did just that twice in his NASCAR Sprint Cup career. In fact, his final career victory came at the track in 2005.
That one, it seems, was a little unexpected.
Not because Jarrett couldn't win at Talladega. Not because he didn't know how to race the track, but because in the closing laps he didn't think he had the car to win. So he planned to push Tony Stewart to victory.
But as so often happens in races at Talladega, things didn't go as planned.
