Dale Earnhardt Jr. updated his condition on Saturday, leaving open the question of when he might return to NASCAR racing.
Earnhardt is out of action while recovering from concussion-like symptoms. This weekend at Pocono marks the third consecutive race Sprint Cup's most popular driver has not participated.

Update: No change lately. Symptoms have plateaued over the last week. Balance/Gaze Stabilization are only issues. Docs preaching patience.

Jeff Gordon will drive Earnhardt's car at Pocono and has said he will continue to do so as long as needed.
