ESPN announced Wednesday it had fired MLB analyst Curt Schilling over his controversial comments about transgender laws in North Carolina and other U.S. states.
“ESPN is an inclusive company. Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable and his employment with ESPN has been terminated," said ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz in a statement.
