CHICAGO -- Right-hander Kyle Hendricks, the Cubs' starter for Game 2 of the NLDS against the Giants (SF-CHC GameTracker), was forced to leave his start on Saturday night after a line drive off the bat of Angel Pagan appeared to strike him on the right forearm. The team later announced that Hendricks was being evaluated for a right forearm contusion. X-rays were negative. At the time of his injury, Hendricks was staked to a 4-2 lead.
