Critics roast officials, absurd moments from UNC's wild win over Baylor

North Carolina's win over defending champion Baylor on Saturday was — well, it was something.

UNC looked well on its way to a dominant win in the men's NCAA tournament, opening a 42-29 halftime lead that it extended to 67-42 midway through the second half. Then North Carolina forward Brady Manek got ejected for elbowing Baylor's Jeremy Sochan in the face.

From that point on, chaos ensued, with officials and North Carolina simultaneously melting down as Baylor came oh so close to tying the largest comeback in NCAA tournament history.

The Bears erased the 25-point deficit to force overtime, where UNC regained its composure to hold on for a 93-86 win to advance to the Sweet 16.
