When the Dallas Cowboys square off with the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, there's a chance you might see No. 28 lined up in his familiar spot at safety at some point.
No, Darren Woodson isn't coming out of retirement. The Cowboys are reportedly activating their practice squad quarterback, Jameill Showers, who has been working at safety for all of two practices, and giving him Woodson's old number.
A subsequent report stated that Showers is not being activated, but has been working at safety for the last couple of days.
