The Dallas Cowboys were relatively quiet this offseason with potential long-term deals for quarterback Dak Prescott, pass-rusher Micah Parsons and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb looming, and the latter's negotiations reportedly could be an immediate focus.
ESPN's Todd Archer reported Wednesday that "the talks with Lamb could begin in earnest soon, with an eye on getting finalized in training camp."
Archer noted that the wide receiver's price tag may only increase if the Minnesota Vikings reach a deal with Justin Jefferson first, especially after Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions and A.J. Brown of the Philadelphia Eagles agreed to contracts that pay them an average annual value of $30 million and $32 million, respectively.
