Dallas Cowboys defensive back Jourdan Lewis will stand trial next week on a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence related to an alleged March incident involving his former girlfriend.
Dan Murphy of ESPN.com reported an attorney for Lewis, who the Cowboys selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft, said during a pre-trial hearing Thursday they plan to contest the charge.
