The domestic violence case against Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman David Irving has been closed.

Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Frisco Police Department made Irving's case file inactive after investigating since-recanted allegations against him.

Irving's former girlfriend hacked his Twitter account and posted messages accusing him of domestic violence in April, per Scott Sidway of WBAP:

Looks like Cowboys defensive lineman David Irving ( @Caliboy_95 ) has a case of the Mondays. Appears that his girlfriend or ex has logged onto his account with some serious allegations.
