Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott says he doesn't mind the pressure of playing the 2024 season with unrestricted free agency looming next spring.
"This is the urgency you should always have, to be honest," Prescott said Wednesday, per The Athletic's Jon Machota. "Maybe guys who wouldn't normally feel it, feel it. I don't mind it. I've been in this position before. I'm a gambling man. I'll gamble on myself and my guys."
Prescott is heading into the final year of the four-year, $160 million deal he signed with the Cowboys in 2021. The team is not yet close to finalizing an extension, ESPN's Adam Schefter said Wednesday night on SportsCenter.
