After a dozen years starring for the Sky, point guard Courtney Vandersloot is ready for a new challenge.
The four-time All-Star announced on Tuesday her plans to move on to a new team, thanking the only WNBA organization she’s ever known for making the past 12 years “special.”
“My first time ever setting foot in Chicago was the day I landed for training camp my rookie year. Twelve years later, it became a place I call home … To the Sky organization who drafted the little guard from a mid-major and believed in me from the jump, I couldn’t have asked for anything better,” Vandersloot wrote.
