TORONTO (Reuters) - Four athletes were busted for doping as day seven of competition at the Pan American Games got off to a rough start on Friday, and while Canada strengthened their grip on the medals table there was more disappointment for U.S. swimmer Natalie Coughlin.

Mexican weightlifter Cinthya Vanessa Dominguez Lara and baseball players Nelson Gomez (Puerto Rico) and Javier Jesus Ortiz Angulo (Colombia) were all kicked out of the multi-sport event after testing positive for anabolic steroids.
