Contract details for FSU assistants Michael Fly, Gerald Gillion released

Florida State released contracts for two men's basketball assistant coaches, Michael Fly and Gerald Gillion, on Thursday as part of an open records request.

Gillion will earn $275,000 annually as part of a one-year contract through April 30, 2026. He will receive $20,000 in moving expenses as well as a monthly car allowance and cell phone. Postseason bonuses are mentioned in the contract but not specifically outlined financially.

He was an FSU student and earned his bachelor's degree in 2008 in social science. Gillion was recently the associate head coach at Long Island University and the head coach at Chicago State from 2021-24.
