Conte: Marcos Alonso fit to face Spurs, but David Luiz is playing through pain

Antonio Conte has no fresh injury concerns to contend with ahead of Wednesday's clash with Tottenham, with Marcos Alonso recovering from the knock he sustained against Stoke City.

The Chelsea boss has, however, confirmed that David Luiz is still suffering pain from Sergio Aguero's tackle at the start of December.

Aguero was sent off after his high boot caught Luiz in the thigh at the end of Manchester City's 3-1 defeat at home to Chelsea, and the Blues' Brazilian defender has played with bandages on his leg ever since.

Alonso has played in every match during Chelsea's 13-game winning run and will likely start against Mauricio Pochettino's side at White Hart Lane in midweek, with Conte revealing that he is in contention.
