Maybe the long-rumored fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr. will actually happen.
McGregor on Wednesday was issued a professional boxing license in California, lending credence for the first time to rumors the mixed martial arts fighter is serious about pursuing a fight in another discipline.

"He got a license today and a federal ID," Andy Foster, California State Athletic Commission executive officer, confirmed with MMAFighting.com. "He's a California boxer now.
"He's qualified. I'd love to see him fight in California.
