He’s not one to boast or brag, and doesn’t display that confident swagger his father was so famous for. And he’s hardly ever overconfident.

But he couldn’t help it Thursday night. After winning one of the Can-Am Duel qualifying races at Daytona, Earnhardt was practically overflowing with confidence.
“I don't really get too confident, I don't want to get overly confident in what I'm doing,” he said. “But the car really does everything I ask it to do.
